Last week there were a few MH/HH-60 Black Hawks (the special missions kind) escorting an MH-47 Chinook (also special missions) doing a number of sorties over the area, and just now I saw two (Marine?) Super Hornets fly over the house - it's kind of unique because the Marine(?) rarely fly in formation like the Air Force guys, they usually go solo.

I remember when I was a kid and a UH-60 was doing slow training passes over my grandpa's house one night. Being the kids we were, me and my brother went out to wave to it. The spotlight was suddenly locked on us and they flashed it a few times while they circled. It was so fucking cool.

I see these relatively often, but then again I live across the bay from a huge Air Force base, and 20 miles from N.A.S. Pensacola.
